Overview and Philosophy
of the Flash Program:
The Peachtree City Flash Track & Field and Cross-Country programs are primarily intended as developmental opportunities for youth athletes of varying levels of ability. The overall objective of the program is to provide interested youth an opportunity to compete in track & field and cross-country competition. Our hope is that Flash athletes will continue competitive running in middle and high school and that they will go into these school programs with a couple of key attributes including:
The program is open to athletes of all abilities and experience who are interested in being part of a team focused on personal improvement. The Flash program is led by USATF Certified Coaches and includes coaches that are former college athletes and current masters runners. We invite you to look around the site or contact the coaches or past athletes and parents involved with the program.
Legacy of Success:
The Flash has a history of outstanding athletes and performances. Over the past several Cross Country Seasons, we have won the GA State meet in several ages groups, finished in the top 3 at regionals in across many age groups, and sent over 100 athletes onto the National Championships.
Over the last several Track Seasons, we have sent dozens of youth to compete at the State Track and Field Championships and won numerous medals. Many youth continue on into the summer to compete at the Regional and National
