Coaches Profile

Don Livingston, Head Coach - Cross Country (X-C) Don returns for 3rd year as head coach for X-C. He is a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach, taught at youth clinics and camps, as well as managed post collegiate elite athlete club. Don has competed at all levels of track and field as a runner from high school, Junior Olympics, Dividion I college track & field, and post collegiately. Don is also a Director of the Peachtree City Youth Track Association, Inc. He has lived in Peachtree City since 1993. He's married to Wendy Barkow Livingston. Don is also a father of 2, Rebekah and Reed. Reed competes for the team. In high school, he ran for Klein Forest High School, Houston, TX. He was multi time district champion, state qualifier, finished in top 5 in 2 Junior Olympics National Track Meets. In college, Don ran for Georgia Tech. He lettered in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Multiple time scorer at ACC Championships. His PRs include: 4:08 for 1 mile, 8:18 for Indoor 3000m, 8:55 for 3000m steeplechase, 14:42 for 5K He is still actively training and racing here in PTC.
Jeff Bilsky, Head Coach - Track & Field Jeff has been head coach of the Flash track & field program since November 2008 and an assistant coach for the team since 2006. Jeff is a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and Certified USATF Meet Official. He is President and Director of the Peachtree City Flash Youth Track Association, Inc. Since getting involved with the program, Jeff has tried to continue building upon the outstanding reputation of the PTC Flash and hopes that current and former Flash athletes always remember "you run with your legs, race with your mind, and win with your heart" Jeff and Jennifer have lived in Peachtee City since 2003 with their 2 kids Alexa and Ethan, both of whom compete for the Flash. In addition to distance running (15k and half-marathon), Jeff is also an avid, albeit slow, triathlete having completed the Ironman Louisville race this past summer.	PHOTO COMING SOON
John James, Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach John is an accomplished all around athlete both today and over the last several year. His experience at training and competing at high levels and working with youth teams, makes him an excellent addition to helping the youth athletes get ready for competitions. John lives in Peachtree City, and has 3 children, David Ian (16), Allison (13) and Will (14). Will competes for the team. John has completed the Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii in 1982. He has many race wins bicycling, Georgia State Road Race and Criterium age group champion. He has competed in the Atlanta half marathon run on Thanksgiving for the last 22 years in a row and plan to go another 22. He readily admits he is the slowest person in the pool but is working on it!
Chad Lohman, Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach Chad's experience as an athlete who knows what is required to run fast times couples with his experience of working with youth, make him an excellent addition to the coaching team this year. Chad has lived in Peachtree City since 2006 and is the father of 2. Chad has been running for 30 years but has been recently expanded his training to compete in a triathlon. He coached youth track as a young adult and soccer for his son's teams the last five years. His PRs: (Chad has accepted his fastest days are behind him) 2:02 in the 800m, 4:22 in the mile (track) and 4:08 (downhill street), 15:59 in the 5K, 3:26 in the marathon
Jim Sanders, Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach Jim is another all around athlete and active parent coach. His experience and knowledge of training across multiple sports and years of racing, make Jim a great addition to the coaching team. Jim has lived in Peachtree City area since 2000, married and has 3 children: Mitchell, Katie, and Christie, who compete on the Flash team. Over the last 20 years he competed in numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, Sprint Triathlon in 1991, Peachtree City Classic, and recently in Callaway Gardens Mountain Bike Race.
Scott Smith, Assistant Cross Country Coach Scott is another all around athlete and active parent coach. He has coached the PTC Flash for several years. His experience and knowledge of youth training make Scott invaluable part of the coaching team. Scott has lived in Peachtree City area for several years, is married and his daughter: Maddie, competes on the Flash team.
Jennifer Bilsky, Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach Jennifer has been coaching the "8 and Under" Flash track and cross-country teams since 2006. This year as many of her athletes move into the next age group, Jenn is looking forward to working with both the Bantam and Sub-bantam teams in 2010. Jennifer's talent, patience, experience with these athletes is a benefit to the team. Her athletes not only develop into faster runners, they always remember that it's about having fun. Jennifer is also a Director of the Peachtree City Flash Youth Track Association, Inc. Jennifer and Jeff have lived in Peachtee City since 2003 with their 2 kids Alexa and Ethan, both of whom compete for the Flash. While Jennifer is always excited to run with her team, she's equally happy when competing in the local 5k race series.
